Palmini is a pasta substitute that is made from a natural plant known as Hearts of Palm that has been trending recently on Google searches. When this plant pasta is cut and cooked by it’s proper cooking directions, it has an uncanny resemblance to regular pastas. It looks like pasta, feels like pasta, and can even taste just like pasta if you add the proper sauce! (We highly recommend a pesto or tomato basil based sauce).
The Palmini is composed of over 90% water and is a vegetable with a very high fiber content. The combination of water and fiber, keeps Palmini at 20 calories per serving, 4 grams of carbohydrates, and 0 grams of sugar. It’s also gluten free! A pasta with next to no calories!?!? Wow.
